Chinese turbine manufacturers dominated the global wind turbine supplier rankings in 2025, as worldwide installations reached a record high, according to new figures published by BloombergNEF.

The Chinese trade body in the EU has criticised the European Commission’s plans to boost local manufacturing as a “protectionist” threat to free trade in the region.
