Hello, my name is Georg E. Weidner, CEO of the Institute for Innovation & Improvement GmbH & Co. KG, Munich. I have been passionate about Quality, Leadership and Innovation since 1998.

Following these values, I am pleased to be the Chairman of the BoD of THE WIND CIRCLE. My education includes degrees in electrical engineering, business administration, quality and process management, leadership and communication. My career in the energy industry began in the year 1990 at E.ON Energie AG. It was followed by professional experience in the automotive industry (GMC), before I finally crossed the gateway to renewable energy in 2005. 

As the leader of a great team of strong professionals with international backgrounds at the industry pioneer Vestas Wind Systems A/S, we had the unique and exciting opportunity to implement cross-functional business excellence methods and tools, setting new standards for the young but forward-looking wind energy industry. 

In 2010, I left Vestas to start a cross-market research project on "new work", the triumvirate of remote, agile & digital working methods. In addition to research, we started the development of a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) environment to put our findings directly into practice. 

This has resulted in a comprehensive software tool kit, called emilQ DAILY®, which became the technical foundation for the CAMPUS4WIND®, amplified by THE WIND CIRCLE. 

In 2019 me and my team have got the accreditation from the German Federal Ministery for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) as Official Digitalisation Partner for industrial enterprises.

In 2020 a peer reviewed journal was deducted from our cross-market research & implementation project, published by the Leadership & Organizational Development Journal, UK.

My profile is rounded off by the publication of the book Quality Management (HANSER, München, 3. edition, April 2020) which is the German-language bestseller in the field of Quality since 2014. 

Privately, I live with my family in Munich and am actively involved in climate and innovation-friendly liberal politics.

"My name is Piet Dokkedal and I am honored to be given the opportunity to join Board of Directors (BoD) of THE WIND CIRCLE (TWC), what I believe is a very exciting initiative. I am chemical engineer, and quite early after leaving my studies, my interest in Quality and HSE was ignited and has been the backbone of my career ever since.  For almost 20 years I have been with the Wind Industry, first at Vestas and today at Siemens Gamesa where I currently are Regional Head of Quality in Northern & Eastern Europe. The expertise I bring is my knowledge about Quality Management in all parts of the value chain and detailed knowledge about APQP4Wind, PPAP, SPC, Auditing (IRCA), Project Quality Management, Six Sigma and COPQ reduction. Wind industry is my passion, as it brings the solutions the world so urgently needs, and by connecting people through initiatives like TWC I truly believe can speed up quality improvement and innovation in the industry. I hold a Technical Degree and I have been working within the Wind Industry for 11 years in different positions, starting up from the very bottom as Quality Controller and went through other roles like Technical Assistant, Continuous Improvement Manager and Quality Manager in production until I was promoted to a Global position. "Hi, I'm Kristoffer Falk Qvist! I have 19 years of wind experience across the full value chain.

My passion is on securing collaboration across the company on product design, procurement and manufacturing to secure the highest possible value for both the company and the customers. I started me career in Vestas Wind Systems in 2003 and worked my way up during my 13 years at Vestas to Vice President for Concept Development, where I headed the development of Vestas MultiRotor.

After Vestas Wind I have been implementing engineering and innovation process, needed to secure new customers and solutions to stay competitive, for KK Wind Solutions, as Vice President for Global R&D and Innovation. After 2 years as divisional director for engineering in the wind construction business, for K2 Management, I am now back in the supply chain working for Ymer Technology as the Technical Director for wind."

"Hello, my name is Mogens Olivarius. I am a production engineer and I began working with Quality, Health and Safety in 2004 when I joined Vestas. In this journey I have worked directly with ensuring compliance to requirements in manufacturing processes and Supplier Integration processes, regional and globally, with special focus on the integration of the supply chain. After many years in Vestas I have had the pleasure to continue my QHSE work in the wind industry at the Tier one supplier of covers, Bach Composites, today Jupiter Bach. Today I am self-employed – still acting in the world of wind energy and supplier integration, but now with a much stronger focus on the digital future. I believe that the initiative C4W and THE WIND CIRCLE will bring all players in the energy sector closer to each other to find common understanding and alignment of what is important: I am pleased to have the opportunity to work together with other passionate people which, just like me, has a great passion to contribute to the clean energy sector. "Hello my name is Thomas! As a patent attorney, my focus is industial property. I have gained more than 30 years experience in this field. My technical background is electrical engineering with focus on communications engineering. During my professional life as patent attorney, I have expanded my technical experiences to other fields, especially mechanical engineering and civil engineering. Since 2005 I have been active as lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Offenburg in the field of "Intellectual Property". On April 12, 2019, I was appointed honorary professor.
I have advised numerous national and international clients in the fields of patents, trademarks and designs, not only in prosecution and defence of these types of industrial property rights but also in their enforcement and licencing.
